Remote job offer - scam??

Received a remote job offer, company called Kopco Construction Ltd. In Winnipeg. Address of main office doesn’t seem to exist and main line has busy signal. The company’s web site looks really legit, but the Corporation number: 1610315-4, and Business number (BN): 769572827RC0001, are registered to a house. I inquired why the main line of the company is set as busy signal and was told that this a remote position and most of my work will be completed online, and that Telegram Messenger would be used for all communications. Is this a scam?
