Old raid tmog rules?

Returning player from Cata. The new sets you can unlock and transmog are amazing. My question is are there any rules on running old raids for tmog sets, like can I repeatedly a raid back to back for all the tmogs. I seen that drops are great on old sets for +2 expansions back, is there any rules I should be aware of?
