Can you explain modern bard strategy and how to use scrapper?

I’m switching from a monk deck to building a bard deck (Bard, GS, KS, Scrapper, Trapper). I’ve never used scrapper much and from the most recent bard strategy post I could find, people say that “scrapper becomes the best choice once you have lvl 9 left and lvl 11 right”. But this was before the perk rework and not sure if it is meta anymore.

To me it seems like the best bard strategy would be to get a high level bard, then use the duplication ability every 40 seconds and create a bunch of accordionists after merging them all. But this is ruined if you are merging scrappers. I also don’t know the advantage of the scrapper 11 right ability and when it is useful

What is the best modern bard strategy and how does scrapper fit into it?

(And I want to keep KS over kobold for now since I’m FTP and don’t want two event legendaries)
