[TOMT] Song from possibly the early 2000s?

I was driving to school one day and had put on a YouTube mix playlist where the starting song was either "Can't Stop" by Red Hot Chili Peppers or "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana. This is just to give the general idea of what kind of song it is because YouTube usually pulls similar songs for mix playlists.

The beat was happy and there were two singers(ish). The main vocals were a guy, but the chorus is sung by a woman. I cannot for the life of me remember any other part except part of the chorus being "I want to be next to you, I want to have sex with you" (which was sung by the woman).

I can also say that whenever I think of the song, it morphs into Joe Jackson's "You Can't Get What You Want (Til You Get Want You Want)" because to me the beat sounds very similar.

Please and thank you to anyone who can help
