I've been tinkering around with frames for a few custom templates, so I got the itch to give the legal versions of the Egyptian God Cards their custom frames and other unique quirks back. Those are so iconic to the originals and the anime that I wish Konami had made an exception to the God Cards, rather than giving them the standard Effect Monster frame with standard ATK/DEF values. I've made no changes to their rules text beyond numbering effects (so I claim no copyright whatsoever in this instance), but I thought it was cool so I wanted to show them off anyway. Set IDs and edition text match each card's first legal English printing

Numbered rules text (in case of image issues), starting with: Obelisk, with his darker blue frame:

>Obelisk the Tormentor

>JUMP-EN037, LIMITED EDITION

>Effect Monster (with Obelisk's custom darker blue frame), Level 10 DIVINE Divine-Beast, 4000 ATK / 4000 DEF

>Requires 3 Tributes to Normal Summon (cannot be Normal Set). ① This card's Normal Summon cannot be negated. ② When Normal Summoned, cards and effects cannot be activated. ③ Neither player can target this card with card effects. ④ You can Tribute 2 monsters; destroy all monsters your opponent controls. This card cannot declare an attack the turn this effect is activated. ⑤ Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card was Special Summoned: Send it to the GY.

Next: Slifer, with his red frame and X000 ATK/DEF, legally equivalent to ? ATK/DEF:

>Slifer the Sky Dragon

>JUMP-EN061, LIMITED EDITION

>Effect Monster (with Slifer's custom red frame), Level 10 DIVINE Divine-Beast, X000 ATK / X000 DEF

>Requires 3 Tributes to Normal Summon (cannot be Normal Set). ① This card's Normal Summon cannot be negated. ② When Normal Summoned, cards and effects cannot be activated. ③ Gains 1000 ATK/DEF for each card in your hand. ④ If a monster(s) is Normal or Special Summoned to your opponent's field in Attack Position: That monster(s) loses 2000 ATK, then if its ATK has been reduced to 0 as a result, destroy it. ⑤ Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card was Special Summoned: Send it to the GY.

Next: Ra, in his base mode, with his yellow frame and ???? ATK/DEF, legally equivalent to ? ATK/DEF:

>The Winged Dragon of Ra

>JUMP-EN045, LIMITED EDITION

>Effect Monster (with Ra's custom yellow frame), Level 10 DIVINE Divine-Beast, ???? ATK / ???? DEF

>Cannot be Special Summoned. Requires 3 Tributes to Normal Summon (cannot be Normal Set). ① This card's Normal Summon cannot be negated. ② When Normal Summoned, other cards and effects cannot be activated. ③ When this card is Normal Summoned: You can pay LP so that you only have 100 left; this card gains ATK/DEF equal to the amount of LP paid. ④ You can pay 1000 LP, then target 1 monster on the field; destroy that target.

Next: Ra's Sphere Mode, also in the Ra yellow frame with ???? ATK/DEF:

>The Winged Dragon of Ra - Sphere Mode

>DPBC-EN001, 1st Edition

>Effect Monster (with Ra's custom yellow frame), Level 10 DIVINE Divine-Beast, ???? ATK / ???? DEF

>Cannot be Special Summoned. Requires 3 Tributes from either side of the field to Normal Summon to that side of the field (cannot be Normal Set), then shift control to this card's owner during the End Phase of the next turn. ① Cannot attack. ② Your opponent cannot target this card for attacks or by card effects. ③ You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "The Winged Dragon of Ra" from your hand or Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions, and if you do, its ATK/DEF become 4000.

And lastly: Ra's Phoenix Mode, unsurprisingly also in the Ra yellow frame, and with normal ATK/DEF values again:

>The Winged Dragon of Ra - Immortal Phoenix

>MIL1-EN001, 1st Edition

>Effect Monster (with Ra's custom yellow frame), Level 10 DIVINE Divine-Beast, 4000 ATK / 4000 DEF

>Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned by its own effect. ① If "The Winged Dragon of Ra" is sent from the field to your GY while this card is in your GY: Special Summon this card. Cards and effects cannot be activated in response to this effect's activation. ② Unaffected by other cards' effects. ③ You can pay 1000 LP; send 1 monster on the field to the GY. ④ Once per turn, during the End Phase: Send this card to the GY, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "The Winged Dragon of Ra - Sphere Mode" from your hand, Deck, or GY, ignoring its Summoning conditions.

The legal Egyptian God Cards should have kept their unique frames (and Ra - Sphere Mode and Immortal Phoenix should have used it too)
