Help finding the best price point for watch?

Coming from an Apple Watch (sick of the poor battery life), I cannot get my head round Garmins watches. I am completely lost in the branding.

What is the common consensus of the sweet spot in terms of the garmin watches? I will use for cycling & running, don't mind paying for a good watch but would prefer to get value for money without overpaying for features I wouldn't need.
