Mad Monkey Hostel in Vietnam changed my mind about hostels
Before Vietnam I stayed in a hostel in Hong Kong and it was honestly not great. Super cramped, weird vibe, nobody really talked, and I barely slept. After that I was like yeah maybe hostels just not for me. But then I stayed at Mad Monkey Hostel in Vietnam and it completely changed my opinion. The place felt way more friendly and social, and it was so easy to meet people without even trying that hard. Staff were chill and helpful too, and the whole vibe was just better. Now I don’t even hate hostels anymore 😅 guess it really depends where you stay.
