How do i transfer my aternos world to singleplayer?

I need to convert my aternos world to singleplayer so I can upload it to realms but it isn't working. I downloaded the world then put it in my .minecraft saves folder, I tried to reset minecraft a few times to see if it was there but it doesn't appear at all. How do I fix this?? I have zero knowledge in this, apologies.
