Assorted Wants for TESVI

I've been playing through another playthrough of Skyrim again and I made the mistake of thinking about what I want for TESVI. Now I can't get these ideas out of my head, so I've come here to exorcise them.

  1. The Magic System

Magic needs to be split into different classes of spells. Why do I need to cast Candlelight every 60 seconds when I'm exploring a dark tomb? Why can't I just keep it sustained at a cost of maximum magicka or a lowered magicka regen rate? I see three main types; cantrip spells that can be cast without sheathing your weapons, sustained spells that last indefinitely and finally focused spells that sit in your hand like a weapon as per Skyrim spells.

  1. Food

The inclusion of food in base game Skyrim baffles me. While absolutely cool for roleplaying its a joke mechanically, providing miniscule health effects. Instead, I want TESVI to take a leaf from Valheims book and let the player eat a meal for a fairly long term boost to magicka/health/stamina, with the exact balance dependent on the meal, but you can only have 1 meal active at a time. As much as I love the meme, no more inhaling a dozen wheels of cheese just to do what a mediocre health potion does.

  1. Trading

I want trading to be a thing that's possible in TESVI. I shouldn't be able to sell iron bars in a iron mining town for the same price as I can in a town under siege by goblins that's desperate for weapons. I know that fast travel might trivialize this and turn it into a loading screen simulator, but the fantasy of trekking across dangerous landscapes to deliver goods in the name of profit is too fun for every merchant on the map to value your goods at the exact same price everywhere.
