Black tea mochi face mask worsening acne?

Please don't crucify me for this lol, I know this mask is super popular rn

So I saw a lot of good reviews about the new mochi face mask and decided to try it. For info my skin is acne-prone with lots of hyperpigmentation, but it's been improving a lot recently with a retinoid treatment and semi-regular use of the Matcha fresh face mask.

I started using the black tea mochi mask last week and had my first breakout in months! Not sure if this is mostly hormonal because some of it is on my chin and jawline, but I've also got some on my forehead and cheek.

Has anyone else had a similar reaction? Feeling kinda bummed because this mask smells so nice and I really wanted to like it...
