Shoe fit

How loose should the shoe fit? I got a size lower than my usual size, i'd say overall the front of the foot is snug but I feel as if I still got some slight heel slip?

I try to lace the boot as tight as I can, but have not tried different lacing techniques.

I've always struggled with shoe sizes, and after my previous Solovairs were too big I'm not sure whether this size is good or I should go even smaller.

I'm not sure whether I'm just overthinking this, or just have not laced them tight enough. The lacing is kinda problematic for me, as I have eczema prone hands and the laces are kind of rough when lacing them really tightly.

I have bought insoles for the bigger shoe but have not tried them for these.

Thoughts? Tips?
