How to actually play Anran?

Hello my fellow Anran mains! I wanted to start this off by saying I absolutely adore this character and her play style! She’s the first character to actually get me into playing DPS, since I’ve had no interest in the role prior. I really want to learn how to get max value out of her and play her effectively so I win more games.

To put it into perspective I’m currently sitting at a 37% win rate on her. I find a lot of the times I play her I get steamrolled. I especially struggle to close the gap with long distance heros. Even when I try to flank with her I find that I get instantly shredded, cause 9/10 they kill me before I kill them first. Even when they are extremely low health, the burn takes a while and most of the time doesn’t finish them off. Maybe I’m struggling more than others because I haven’t played the role of DPS before so there could be there are some core things I’m missing and hopefully the more I play her the better I’ll get. I currently have her at level 10 with roughly 5-6 hours on her. I feel like some games I really understand her, but most of my games my performance is subpar.

If anyone has any tips to be an absolute menace as Anran please let me know! I know she’s still new and everyone is probably figuring her out themselves, but any advice is appreciated! Thank you for reading! :)
