Oneshot tips

Hello reddit folk!

I would like to ask if you have any tips about running a first one shot. Am a moderately experienced DM (DnD, Coriolis, BitD) and am running Daggerheart for the first time in my life next week, all of my players are new to it (a group of 4).

I devised a heist/social intrigue centered around a ball plot that shouldnt take more then 3-4 hours to finish. Characters will be stat-wise pregeneratd and each PC will have a set of side missions that should help with easing the players into RP. Some of the players have plenty of experience with ttrpgs and one of them has none.
