Uk Native cat safe plants.

I have just bought my first home in the south east and I am trying hard to have a mostly UK native garden but I can’t believe how hard it is to find suitable plants. Almost every plant I look at in the garden centres are non-native. To make things worse I have two cats and half my garden is very shady.

Does anyone have any suggestions of cat safe, UK native, shade tolerant plants? The cats aren’t plant nibblers so mildly toxic plants would probably be fine but deadly toxic like Lillies are an absolute no.
