Transferred $2,000 USD via Wise recall pending for ~30 days, no resolution

Hi everyone,

I made an international transfer of $2,000 USD to a family member at the end of December. The money never arrived.

Around mid-January, I initiated a recall through Wise. It’s now been almost 30 days since the recall was started, and I still don’t have the funds back or any clear update.

Wise support has been extremely unhelpful so far mostly generic responses, no concrete timelines, and no explanation of where the money currently is or why it’s taking this long.

This is a significant amount of money for me, and I’m getting worried.

Has anyone dealt with a similar recall delay? How long did it take, and did you have to escalate?
