Children's book about arab fairytales

I remember reading this book around 2010 and it was published in greek. I don't know if the original came from another country and it was just translated in Greek or if the original was Greek.

It included stories like Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves and Aladdin.

I also remember a story where a parrot carried a pomegranate to his prince and inside the pomegranate was a princess.

There was also a story where at some point some people/thieves or something had hidden inside huge clay jars and a woman poured boiling oil on them to kill them?

The cover was purple-ish and had a picture of Aladdin flying on the magic carpet.

There were coloured pictures inside.
