Stocking up on the boring stuff feels oddly responsible

I am the kind of person to always ignore cleaning supplies until I absolutely need them. Like, I’d notice something was dirty and realize I was down to the last splash of disinfectant. Then I’d have to make an annoyed trip to the store. A while back, I decided to take charge for once in my life and I ordered disinfectant in bulk through Alibaba. When it arrived, I arranged everything neatly under my sink cabinet in my bathroom. The whole process made me feel some sense of calm and control I didn’t know being proactive could bring. Now when I clean the kitchen after cooking or deep clean surfaces before family visits, I’m not thinking about not having enough. I just use what I need. It’s such a small change, but it’s shifted how I approach cleaning. Instead of feeling like a chore I put off, it’s just part of the routine. Quick wipe here, quick spray there, done. I’ve ordered plenty of unnecessary things online before. This wasn’t one of them. This bulk order from an online site ended up being the most boring purchase I’ve made this year, yet somehow, it has deeply affected my mindset and living habit.
