Why Do We Blame Younger Dom/mes Instead of Predators?

This is slightly rhetorical and mini-rant.

I had a heated (but still matured) discussion with one of my subs about this reality of Dom/mes being approached and targeted by many older (predatory) supposedly submissives.

They expressed discomfort over younger Dom/mes in general because of this.

Please, correct me if I'm wrong, if I sound fallacious but, all I hear is something similar to:

"You know there are rapists so why do you wear short/revealing clothes?"

"You shouldn't have gone drinking"

"You're asking for it"

Instead of asking for accountability from these mofos, many internalized their own unrealized biases and turn against the easier targets: the younggins.

It is easier to blame the younger dom/mes because they should have known better, right? (This is sarcasm btw).

Many can't do anything (or maybe, they don't really care but pretend they do) about the predators but many still wanna feel heroic and find an avenue through the younger Dom/mes instead.

It’s safer to shame the naive than to stand against the dangerous.
