Rules Are for the Ruled

From what I’ve seen, the weak are often the ones who strictly follow rules. Those who break them seem to rise, dominate, and shape the world. Whenever I tried to achieve something through ethics and morality alone, I often lost. But when I acted ruthlessly, I won. History shows that many who conquered the world followed no rules, while those who obeyed blindly became slaves to rules made by people who never followed them themselves.
