NOOB trying to learn OpenClaw

Hey all, I’m trying to learn open claw and it’s agentic capability and how it can improve my life with an Ai exec and looking on how to start.

I want to build an app where every day at 6am, I get openclaw to scrape the web for information about news about my stock portfolio, and text me summaries about each news finding to me on discord.

For this task should I go on-premise LLM model on kimi or DeepSeek using ollama or should I go with the frontier model with keys?

Looking for a starting position to build up skill set, and get well versed. What are some of hurdles and pitfalls I should watch out for.
