No, this is what I signed up for
Betraying you would be betraying me
How could I drift away as you drown?
But how could I save you
If I’m drowning too?
And if I can’t keep my vows
Am I the villain in this story?
Or just another body
Swaying in the ocean?
I don’t know
How to be your lifeline
Watch as you unravel
Gasping for air
Salt on my face
Grieving as I unravel
