Help! My LG washer/dryer combo is filling to the floor.

Hey friends! Just what the title says, it fills to the floor. I'm the second owner, the guy who sold it to me swears up and down that he used it before unplugging it and selling it. Maybe it did happen in transit, but I haven't been able to use the machine yet.

It is filling to the floor. All the hoses are connected and I don't see or feel any bad places. I lubricated the mushroom valve for the overflow vent. That was not the issue. I'm a novice at this and normally this is when I would call dad for help, but we lost him in '24.

I don't want to buy and replace the pump if the pump isn't the issue. The unit turns on, but the moment it starts trying to fill, water is running onto the machine stand and into the floor. No water is making it into the drum at all, so I don't even know if it will complete a cycle.

It's the LG WM3997HWA washer/dryer combo. I've looked at the service manual but I still don't know what I'm doing and I really can't afford to waste money on parts that I don't even need to be replacing. Thanks for your help in advance friends. Hope you're having a great day!
