Phone not receiving texts/iMessage from an unblocked #?

For past several days my mom can’t receive texts sent from my phone. Both iPhones. I can’t find any settings that would be causing this. Messages say ‘delivered’ on my end and she can see them on her iPad which is connected to her phone. Any ideas on cause/solution?
