I just started a NG+ as Alexios and something just feels off

Last time I played the story through was release so I don't remember it much. I recently got back into it after transferring game data to the PS5. After completing the map and 100% everything (other than mastery ofc) I decided to start a NG+ choosing Alexios just cuz I had already done a play through with Kassandra. I haven't gotten far, only just met Nikolaus again, but something just feels off about Alexios. In a weird way, the dialogue feels like it was written for her rather than him. Maybe it's bc Kass is the canon character, thinking forward about the Valhalla crossover etc.

I'm debating restarting as her lol. The hotter partner in LotFB may not be worth it 😂
