Bouncy and rough front end
Got the bike delivered a month back. Been riding on and off short distances. Due for 1st service in a few days.
Noticed the front end feeling very bouncy and rough after 15 days of riding (normal road - tarmac) very pronunced on the white top roads or the concrete roads. Thought it was the front tire pressure and tried a few air pressure options but stuck to the normal 32psi. Nothing wrong with the tires. But issue remained and became more while going over road humps also.
In between I installed risers with a local mechanic to give me more comfort on the reach.
Visited the nesrby RE service center after and one of the guys took a ride and confirmed the roughness. The decision was that the Tnut is torqued too tight which also includes the cone set. So the whole setup needs to be removed and retorqued. 🤔
Now, the service center and I decided to hold this work to be done when I drop the bike for service in a few days since I didn't want then to rush with the work. And I get to relearn a new way of riding a front tight bike 🫣.
Now I have a feeling my suspension set up also needs a full chk since the suspension rebound is very slow. Duh!! Surprise mf!
Anyone else face this issue on a few bike? Do feel free to share your thoughts and experience here.
Cheers safe riding everyone. There are a lot of jokers on the road including you and me for somebody .
