Router recommendation for new fiber townhouse?

Moving into a brand new townhouse with spectrum fiber built it. Currently will have the 1G internet but was told we should have 2GB soon. Was looking to get my own router that would also be future proof a bit. I like to game on direct connection but besides that mostly just streaming devices connected to the WiFi. Happy to spend a little $$ to get something nice! Was looking at the Asus routers as I have many Asus PC parts. Any recommendations?
