If you’re in the trenches, it gets better

Just wanted to hop on here and say: it gets better. My girl is almost 18 months so we are well into toddlerhood, but I just had a thought and wanted to share it.

We just put her down for her nap which is my break of the day, but 15 minutes later I found myself thinking “I can’t wait until she wakes up so I can hang out with my little bestie”.

Shes at the age where she’s silly with us, shows us so much love, responds to so much, and communicates so much whether it be words, sign or gesture. All of those sleepless nights and screaming days, become so worth it as they mold into their own tiny human and give so much back to you. I just thought maybe that would be encouraging to hear.
