Stitch Money helps you make sense of household finances by turning messy transactions into clean, visual insights you can actually use — whether you’re managing money solo or with a partner/family.

What Stitch Money does (quick tour)

Overview dashboard (the “at-a-glance” home base)

You’ll see:

• Bills (Last 30 Days): a simple category breakdown (pie + list) so you can instantly spot where spending is going.
• Upcoming bills: a running list of upcoming transactions with an easy “bill / not a bill” style classification to keep noise down.
• Income & Taxes: past-year income, past-year taxes, and projected income, great for planning and “wait… where did it all go?” moments.
• Spend Breakdown (up to 1 year): interactive timeline controls (7D / 30D / 90D / 1Y / custom).
• Sankey flow view (income → categories): a visual money flow that shows where income ends up (taxes, housing, savings, shopping, etc.) in one glance.

Transactions

A full list of transactions that power everything on Overview (great for digging into “why did Shopping spike this month?”).

Patch (shared household view)

Patch lets you collaborate:

• Invite another person
• See combined totals
• Understand who contributed what (without living in spreadsheets)

Privacy & trust

Stitch Money is built around trust. When you connect an account, you’re connecting through Plaid to import transactions. We never see or store your bank login credentials. We only access what we need to power the product: transaction history, account IDs, and basic account labels. We don’t have the ability to move money, make transfers, or “touch” your accounts. And you stay in control: you can remove connected accounts and delete associated data at any time.

What this subreddit is for

Use this space to:

• Ask questions about features + setup
• Share feedback and feature requests
• Report bugs (with screenshots redacting personal info)
• Suggest improvements to categories, bills detection, Sankey views, etc.

If you’re posting feedback, it helps a ton to include:

• What you expected
• What happened instead
• Steps to reproduce (if it’s a bug)
• Browser/device
