Should I wait on M5 or do an M4?

Using for video editing and effects. Also do a good bit of work in Unreal. Heard that this M5 chip does a better job with the GPU.

Also debating just doing the MacBook pro M5 to be slightly more portable but my wife worries it will more likely get damaged.
