Rejecting An Accepted Offer in the Indian Semiconductor Industry

I work in the semiconductor industry in India and have been with the same company my whole careers, for around 10 years. I decided to move to and landed a role. I plan on accepting the offer I received but am still interviewing with other companies.

I am not aware of how things work in the semiconductor industry in India with respect to not joining a company once you have accepted their offer. I know it is very common in the SW industry to juggle multiple offers. Is this a common occurrence in the semiconductor industry as well? Would it be a bad move to not join a company once you have accepted their offer. I would definitely inform them before the joining date.
