WIBTAH for cutting off a group for using chatgpt to write an apology?

context, i (16f) went out for a celebration with a friend group (6 other people), it was supposed to be night out followed by i sleepover but i couldn’t do the sleepover which was fine by me. also, i am a very social person, so i have multiple groups i hangout with. i like a few people in this group but a lot of them are into doing drugs which i won’t do because of my sport and we also don’t have to same morals and drive/ambitions in life.

when i got there they had these blank/cold stares, and throughout the night they kept giving eachother “the look” everytime i spoke.

i’m guessing this is cause i couldn’t sleep over with them, because i thought everything was all good between us.

also after the night was over i got a text from chiara (16f) saying that when i walked up to them bea said “i can’t believe she came” and “ew”. im not aware of any beef we had, so this made me sad and pretty angry. this is when i got petty and i ignored them at school for like three days. it wasn’t that hard because this group doesn’t have any classes with me anyway but then i get a text from bea (16f) she asks:

“just wanted to know if we are chill im sensing tension”

bruh be so fr.

i reply to her saying how i felt hurt about how they acted that night, and i saw when they gave eachother looks when i spoke. i also told her what chiara said to me.

before continue i want to say that bea is the kind of person that doesn’t believe in using punctuation and uses alot of keyboard shortcuts (you = u, really = rlly). basically she sent this super long messages trying to defend her actions but it didn’t sound like her at all. i also realized that she used “you” and “u” and those “—“ dash things. i was totally suspicious about those cause who actually used those through texting? she also said phrases like

“thank you for your feedback”

“i will state how i feel”

to me these sounded super robotic so i put it through an AI recognizing thing (not my best moment i know) and it said it had some human writing but it was mostly AI.

i just can’t take it anymore. i’m not that close with these guys anyway.

WIBTAH for dropping the group over this? also pls give advice on how to deal with this issue .
