How to start purple star system quest line

I am on switch so just got the update a couple weeks ago and I'm wondering how you start the purple star system quest line. I have completed the main and Atlas stories and I thought it just shows up but I'm not getting anything, is it on the switch at all? Do I need to start a new save?
