Hello, all! I’m packing for 5 nights in London in early-mid March. My wife is going for a couple of business meetings and we added on a few days for fun. We have plans for afternoon tea, museum visits, and some general sightseeing and shopping. I’ll spend the two days she’s working just chilling in the hotel room. We’ll probably keep our activities low key overall.

We were already (mostly) packed for our May vacation to Germany/Austria when this trip came up, so we have to unpack to get ready for this. Go figure that my freakish overplanning backfired on me.

It will presumably be chilly and rainy, but still blissfully warmer than the frigid winter we’ve had here. I’m slightly concerned I won’t be warm enough, but my wife is confident I’ll be OK in my trench coat with layers underneath. We’re not planning to spend a lot of time wandering (old city sidewalks are hard for me) and anticipate getting around mostly by bus and cab, so we should have limited time out in the elements.

After a few recent trips I’ve realized it’s worth it to me to travel in jeans, even for a long flight. I’m only taking the one bra (and it’s—gasp!—underwire!) because we’re headed to Bravissimo on our first full day in the city. I’m so overdue for new bras and am leaving ample space in my bag for two new 36Fs!

We’re flying Delta and don’t have an official carryon weight limit, but I’d like to get my bag below its current 14 pounds. I might also need to take some items for my wife since she needs to carry her laptop in her onebag. I’d love help with a few things:

\- I’m undecided on makeup. I like to take it on vacation since I don’t get to go out much at home… but we’re not doing any going out on this trip. I don’t do anything close to a full face, so I’m not taking a lot with me, but it’s oddly heavy. *Makeup or not?*

\- *Should I take the ballet flats even if I don’t have firm plans to wear them?* Right now we only have pretty casual plans, but I’m hesitant to go with sneakers as my only shoe. (I’m a wheelchair user and don’t need to worry about walking comfort.)

\- My biggest concern: the wide leg black ponte pants weigh a LOT but I don’t have anything similar. I could sub out. I quickly ordered black [SleekTech Trousers](https://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=7844340020003&_gl=1*4iqdlr*_gcl_au*MTI4NTYyNTcyMi4xNzcwNjg5NDkx&vid=1#pdp-page-content) from Old Navy to try. *Any other suggestions for comfy, lightweight black pants that might ship quickly?*

*I’m open to any other advice on my packing, too!*
