Community for Growth Focus Channels
To my fellow YouTubers,
Content creating is an lonely job. You create and you post, sometimes pouring yoru heart and soul into the content, and you get no views. I am there in the trenches with you, and it can be extremely demoralizing.
The core problem is that we look at our analytics without knowing WHAT went wrong exactly. All YouTube's metrics can be hard to decypher, and harder still when you have just your own. To that, I am hoping to have a solution.
I am starting a new Discord channel for any growth focus YouTuber. Growth focus means you post like a business, you create quality long-form content, and you post consistently. Now what I mean by that is this:
- You treat this like work and not just for a hobbie. You post content with strategy and focus to grow (havign fun while at it is great too).
- You are professional and respectful with others and yourself.
- Quality content is subjective, but if YOU think it's good quality, it's good enough right now.
- You post at least once a month on the same day.
- This is for long-form creators only. No disrespect to short creators, but that IS a different ballpark.
- NO ARTIFICALLY GENERATED CONTENT. It's okay to use AI as support! NOT to make videos.
Now I do need some requirements to make sure we are aligned. The community focus will be "media" entertainment or analysis channels. That will be reviews, critiques, deep dives, comedy, etc. related to a piece of media like games, movies, TV shows, comics, trading cards, etc.
This is so we are more or less in the same type of niches and we can provide meaningful feedback to one another. Can you imagine a movie review channel critiquing a food making channel? One doesn't know the core needs of the other's audience.
Send me a PM with your channel name, your niche, your goals, and how long you've created content. I will send you the invite to the community if we are a match.
One last thing. I ain't no discord mod. I started the thing to get others that match my mindset and we can support each other above all, so don't expect fancy stuff.
