NoteScan - the app to easily move your handwritten notes to Obsidian just hit 1000 users!

Hey,

At the beginning of January I've created NoteScan and posted about it here. It got really warm welcome and a lot of people tried the app - thanks for that!

The main idea behind the app is a super simple interface, just scan a note and easily get it as markdown and paste into obsidian (or anything that accepts markdown).

Since then I was iterating on new versions and I think its now much more useful for Obsidian folks. I've been working on enhancing markdown support even more and added Mermaid graphs! So now when you draw something in your notebook you can easily move it over to Obsidian by just doing a quick scan.

To achieve great results the app relies on vision based AI models and a pipeline consisting of two model calls for each scan to ensure the content the first model read is properly formatted and filtered before returning back to the user. Therefore I rely on subscription model for this to be sustainable.
