Corolla Touring: Engine choice

Hi, I am interested in buying a brand new Toyota Corolla Touring Sports (European market) and as explained in the title I am trying to understand which engine choice is the best.

There is a choice between 1.8L Hybrid or 2.0L Hybrid. Both choices would have the same e-CVT gearbox. At this point I would like to choose the 2.0L Hybrid engine as it has a bit more power which would be nice to have. My regular usage would be mostly around town and a longer commute of 170 km twice a week.

I am interested if anyone here has bought/used one or the other engine and can comment on its usage and especially the reliability. Of course a brand new car has a warranty but losing a car for repairs for an extensive time is never great.
