Fearful avoidant ex hasn’t changed her Whatsapp profile pic in almost a year, am I overthinking?

My ex is fearful avoidant. Before the breakup, she used to change her Whatsapp profile pic every few months. Even if she liked a picture a lot, she would eventually refresh it. That was just her pattern.

After she broke up with me in 2024, she deleted my number. Back in February 2025, she broke no contact and had saved my number again to reach out. She changed her whatsapp profile pic once somewhere around May but since then it’s been the exact same picture for almost a year now which is very unlike her.

She has broken no contact multiple times after May as well (around September and November) randomly and nostalgically. Other than when she initiates, we are in complete zero contact and don’t follow each other anywhere.

I’m not looking for reconciliation. I just genuinely find it surprising and out of character for someone like her to keep the same profile pic for this long.

Do avoidants ever hesitate with small digital changes like this, possibly overthinking how their ex might see it or is this just something I shouldn’t read into at all?
