Bootloader no working

Tried to sync the HiChord with MacBook Pro M3 from three different ports and three different cables including the cable provided with HiChord. I got the Apple popup only once to connect but nothing connects and the bootloader never launches. Never was able to connect the device to laptop to even use the web connected app. Rebooted the computer and HiChord way too many times with still no luck. Any suggestions?
