How do you space out SR doses?

Prescribed 450mg burprion by my psych. When I took this medication years ago, it was at a lower dosage and combined with other meds. I was taking XL once per day.

No one told me to space out my SR doses, so when I upped to 450mg for the first time yesterday, I took 3 pills at once and felt extremely anxious and sweaty for most of the day. I thought maybe it would stop after a few days, but after doing some quick googling, I'm starting to think I shouldn't be taking it all at once.

For anyone who is also on 450mg SR, when do you take your pills to prevent insomnia or other adverse effects?
