Who cuts thick hair?

Every hair dresser I've had in the past few years tells me they are experienced in cutting thick hair. Which might technically be true that they've been taught as much, but they don't have the nuances figured out. Is there anyone you all can recommend who specializes in thick long hair or who is 100% proficient even if they don't advertise as a specialty? I don't need a basic cut and then an attack with thinning shears lol. I want my old girl back. How dare she stop working to have babies lol.
