Wouldn't gloves solve the problem in OS?

So, one of the most bespoken relationship problems in OS for Xaden and Violet are that they can't hook up because Xaden looses control with her and are afraid that he will accidentally channel her power.

Is this not a really solvable problem with alittle imagination?

I mean, when Aura challenges Daine, she removes her gloves because *she can't wield with them on". Since it's all magic we talk about here, where the difference is how to channel it and from where, one would presume that it would atleast be a possibility that Xaden would not be able to channel from the ground with gloves on? Or from, lets say, Violet? They could atleast try out that hypothesis.

In any case, if they did not want to risk it, just... Don't let him use his hands? Tie them and let her lead? Since it seems he needs his hands to channel (otherwise one could argue that it would be more convenient to channel with his feet, assuming that it works with his boots on. If he can't because of his boots, I would personally revisit the glove theory) and there are no records that it merely needs skin to skin contact this could be a viable option in their situation so to speak.
