Trifarotene freaking ruined my face! Should I continue using it? Is this still purging?

I started using Trifarotene per my Dermatologist’s prescription last December 20th, 2025. The left photo was taken before I started while the one on the right was taken yesterday. Should I stop for a while then continue or switch to other retinoid? Ugh I hate my dermatologist for prescribing me this medicine! Epiduo worked better for me but she decided I go with stronger one. I use it every other day so Im not sure if this is still purging or irritation.
