Have you ever dated a woman with kids?

Hi. I’ve recently started talking to a new woman. She seems lovely so far — Very sweet, smart and we are able to joke around. She’s 33 and I’m 29. It’s also long distance. I am in FL and she is in MN. She has kids.. Ages 14 and 9. She had her kids with her ex husband who’s been divorced to for over 5 years now after realizing she’s a lesbian. I wanted to come ask if anyone has ever dated a mom. I feel like those ages still require a lot of time and attention from the mother, not to mention, long distance can already be difficult to maintain sometimes with not seeing each other or being able to actually be together physically. Has anyone dated a woman with kids and how did it go?
