We really wanted to like the Innings Festival, but it was a mess and could quickly become a dangerous stampede if there was need for quick evacuation. What are your thoughts/experiences?

Moving here

Positives: -free narcan (don't use drugs, but would want to help if someone was in distress) -food and beverages were affordable -exciting line-up of performers

Needs improvement: -There were no designated paths to walk from place to place, so people were left to weave through crowds and step over other people.

-It was difficult to get from stage to stage and to and from food carts because of crowding and lack of designated walkways.

-Everyone on the turf was sitting/laying, but when the music started, some people stood and then other people needed to stand because they couldn't see, and then everyone was standing; perhaps they can have designated sitting and standing areas? (These were chill bands, no one was dancing, just standing.)

-Multiple people fell onto (not bumped into, fell onto) me, my husband, and daughter...not sure if they were drunk and/or high or if it was because of the crowding and lack of walkways.

-The turf quickly became a mess of trash and spilled drinks likely because there were no nearby trash cans and even if there were, the crowding and lack of pathways made it challenging to move anywhere within the crowds.
