How to avoid scams

Hello!

A friend of mine is going to move to Denmark for a few weeks and is now looking for a house - while he is still avroad.

He found an apartment on Facebook and was offered to see it by video before paying deposit.

I would really like to avoid that he gets scammed, so, I was wondering, what kind of red flags should he look at to avoid scams with the rent?
