Does anyone use a wine cooler r to store their collection ?

I know that some people do this successfully, in order to monitor humidity and temperature throughout the year, for example at around 12°C and and relative humidity between 50-55%.

I was wondering: doesn’t keeping stamps in a cold environment damage them?
