Bowie knife:

Hello guys,

Look, I am looking of a good knife for the purpose of cutting open coconuts and cutting down palm tree branches.

I usually use machetes but they lack the weight to do it quickly and they go blunt quickly. Additionally they rust in no time.

So I wanted to know if a Bowie knife of sufficient size could do the trick. What do you think? And Al’s, is there any Bowie knowing particular that you could recommend for this purpose?
