Help with a choice of motors for a project

I can't find suitable motors for my project (at sources available to me) aside from this pack from makeblock including two 36mm motors with encoders, driver and mounting pieces. The sheet says direction is CCW so this would mean it can only spin in one direction? I'm also wondering whether pins onboard can be used to control the motors using just an ESP32? Has anyone tried these packs?

My project is controlling a small tracked vehicle (dimensions of about 25x20cm) using remote control (and possibly autonomous) in a garden that will have some load so I definitely need torque.
