I hate how weird people are about teenage boys and their moms

This is coming from other teenagers but also adults. Idk if it's because people watch too much porn or something but it's really annoying. As a 15 yo I'm really close with my mom and people always freak out over it for some reason. Like no, just because I'm close with my mom it doesn't mean that she's one of "those" moms who overly coddle their sons. I just like to spend time with her unlike many teenagers. And I let her hug me and kiss me because she's my mom.

I also find it really weird when a boy is just spending time with his mom and people will be like "Freud was right" and stuff like that. If there's a boy spending time with his mom on TikTok or something the comments will be full of people making comments about porn. Or once I mentioned hating my dad and this guy went all out about how it's common for boys to be jealous of their father and wanna claim their mother for themselves. Dude I hate my dad because he's abusive. I have no problem with my stepdad. Everything is always made sexual and weird, even if it's just cuddling or hugging or literally anything.

And other teens will just make fun of you for rather spending time with your mom or being close to your mom. It's really stupid how you can't have a good relationship with your own mother without people making it weird or calling you a baby.
