precautions flying in from america

hello, i know this question gets asked on here frequently and i just ask that nobody tells me the obvious legal or physical advice as i wouldn’t be asking here if i couldn’t already be sure of the answer. please just help me with your own experiences or knowledge, being realistic

i am almost 18 but not yet, and i have been contemplating just not bringing my vape, and/or cart on the plane to sydney, australia from america. i know it is illegal there, weed wise, and vaping has strict regulations too.

realistically, if i were to hide them in my carryon in my makeup bag, maybe around coins, etc. would i be able to get them though, with them being small enough? would i only be able to get a vape through? neither? i have used these to manage my own mental health for about a year now and just quitting for a week might literally cause withdrawal, so i just want to know realistically, can i bring these through with being careful? if so, i am planning on getting a small vape to travel with and a small disposable cart with no big coil.

also i do not plan on bringing them back home. i am completely open to advice and if you think its not possible, let me know. i am a very anxious person and i overthink every situation.. but i would hate to get through and think “i def could have brought them”

either way im looking forward to the trip and i wont be upset not bringing them if its what it comes down to. but i would *really* appreciate anyone who has experiences similar to mine and can tell me if i should just do it honestly.

my parent is coming with me and does not know btw, so getting caught with it isn’t as much of an option for me, especially being underage. just be real with me
